Privacy Policy - Gourmet Club Jordan

This Privacy Policy explains how the Gourmet Club Jordan mobile app (the "App") handles your information. The App is the members' app for the Gourmet Club loyalty program operated by InterContinental Jordan, and it is developed and published by AFAQ AL-TATAWUR ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information from your membership: your name, email address, phone number, membership number, tier, and membership dates.
• Location: when you choose to redeem a voucher, the App checks your device location once to confirm you are at the hotel. Location is used only at that moment, is not tracked in the background, and is not stored or shared.
• Device and usage information: basic technical data such as device model, operating system version, and diagnostic information needed to run the App reliably.

Biometric unlock

If you enable fingerprint or face unlock, the check is performed by your device's own secure system. The App never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric data.

How we use your information

• To sign you in and show your vouchers, membership card, and redemption history.
• To generate the QR code your hotel's staff scan to record a redemption.
• To confirm you are at the hotel at the time of redemption.
• To send and display in-app notifications related to your membership.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App and resolve technical issues.

How your information is handled

The App is a front end to InterContinental Jordan's membership system (the PureVision CRM). Your account information is processed on that system over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your sign-in session token is stored securely on your device only. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Your information is shared only with InterContinental Jordan (the program operator) and the service provider that hosts the membership system, solely to operate the loyalty program. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

Your membership information is retained by InterContinental Jordan for as long as your membership is active. The session token on your device is removed when you sign out.

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time using our deletion request form, or by emailing info@saree3.io from the address on your membership. Verified requests are completed within 30 days.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, turn off biometric unlock in the App, and deny or revoke the location permission in your device settings (redemption at the hotel may not work without it).

Children

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted connections and secure on-device storage of the session token. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
