Signs it is time
- The site looks older than your business
- It is slow on phones
- You cannot update it yourself
- Visitors call to ask things the site should answer
What we keep
- Every page that ranks on Google keeps its address or gets a redirect
- Your content, rewritten where it needs to be clearer
- Your tracking, so you can compare before and after
What changes
- A new design built for your brand
- Pages that load fast on a normal phone
- A content system your team can use
- Clear calls to action on every page
How we redesign without losing rankings
- Record where you stand. We export the pages that get clicks in Search Console, the searches they appear for and your current traffic, so there is a baseline to compare against.
- Crawl the old site. Every address, title, description, heading and internal link is listed, including old pages nobody remembers.
- Map old to new. Each old address keeps its place or gets a permanent (301) redirect to the closest new page. Nothing is left to end on an error page.
- Keep what ranks. Pages that bring traffic keep their topic and their main text. We improve them rather than cut them.
- Build on a hidden staging address, blocked from Google, so the unfinished site is never indexed.
- Launch and check. Redirects are tested one by one, the new sitemap is submitted, and we watch Search Console for errors in the weeks after launch.
Redesign, rebuild or just fix
| Situation | Usually the right move |
|---|---|
| The site works, but looks dated | A redesign on the same structure |
| Slow, hard to edit, built on a theme with many plugins | A rebuild that keeps the addresses and content that rank |
| Mostly fine, with a few broken parts | Fixes under a care plan |
| The business changed what it sells | A new structure and content, with redirects from the old pages |
Our website redesign checklist helps you decide before you ask for quotes. If a few fixes are enough, we will tell you, and our maintenance plans start at 80 JOD a month.
Moving off WordPress or Wix
Many business sites in Jordan run on WordPress with a heavy theme, or on Wix. Both can stay where they are with a better design. Moving to a custom site makes sense when speed, plugin updates or platform limits keep costing you time and enquiries. Before you choose, compare WordPress and a custom website, or a custom site and Wix. Whatever the platform, your pages, images and blog posts come with you.
What we need from you
- Access to the domain and the current hosting, or the contact of whoever holds them
- Access to Google Search Console and Analytics, if they exist
- The services or products that matter most to the business today
- Any content you want added, removed or rewritten
If nobody knows who holds the domain, we help you find out and move it into your name. That is worth doing even without a redesign.
Common redesign mistakes that cost rankings
- Changing page addresses without redirects
- Deleting old pages that still bring visits
- Launching with the staging site's block on Google still in place
- Leaving the old site live on a second address, so Google sees two copies of the same content
- Replacing text with images or sliders, so there is less for Google to read
- Removing the tracking code, so there is no way to compare before and after
Speed is part of the redesign
We measure the current site's speed on a phone before we start, and the new one the same way before launch. Most of the gain comes from a few things: compressed images at the right size, only the fonts the pages use, and fewer plugins and scripts. Our guide to Core Web Vitals explains the measures Google uses.
Price and timeline
A business website redesign starts at 700 JOD and takes 2 to 5 weeks, depending on the number of pages and how much content changes. Store redesigns are quoted after a review, because products, payments and orders have to move without stopping sales. New online stores start at 1,200 JOD on our pricing page. Every redesign includes the search setup at launch and 30 days of fixes and help.
