A day in the CRM
A visitor fills the form on your website after clicking an ad. The CRM creates the lead with the ad it came from, assigns it to a salesperson by product or area, and sets a reminder to call, for example within the hour. The salesperson calls, logs the result in two taps and sends a quotation from the same screen. If the customer asks for a week to think, the CRM brings the lead back in a week. If nobody follows up, the manager sees it in the overdue list the next morning.
That is the real value of a CRM: the follow up happens because the system asks for it, not because someone remembered.

Custom CRM or Zoho, HubSpot and similar
Hosted CRMs such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot or Salesforce are quick to start with and fit many sales teams. They are priced per user per month, and the bill grows with the team and with every feature you switch on. A custom CRM fits better when:
- Your sales stages, products or approvals do not match a standard pipeline
- You prefer one build cost to a subscription for every salesperson
- The CRM needs to share data with your own ERP, store or point of sale
- Your team will only adopt a tool that shows the few screens they actually use
If a hosted CRM fits you better, the proposal says so. Our guide to CRM cost in Jordan compares both options over a few years.
WhatsApp and the CRM
Most customers in Jordan reach a business on WhatsApp first, so the CRM has to work with it. There are two ways:
- A one-tap chat. Every customer record has a button that opens WhatsApp on the salesperson's phone, and the salesperson logs the outcome. Simple, and it costs nothing extra.
- Messages inside the CRM. The CRM sends and receives messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta, so the whole conversation is saved on the customer record. This needs an approved business account and message templates, and Meta charges for the template messages a business sends, so we price it separately.
Permissions and data
- Each salesperson sees their own leads, managers see their team, owners see everything
- Exports can be limited to managers, so the customer list does not leave with a departing employee
- Every change is logged with who made it and when
- The data lives in an account you own, and you can export it at any time
What decides the price
- How many lead sources connect automatically: website forms, ad lead forms, WhatsApp
- Quotations built from your products and price lists
- The number of roles, and the reports managers need
- A mobile app for field sales, or a web version that works well on phones
- Links to an ERP, accounting software or an online store
A CRM usually takes 4 to 10 weeks from approval to first use. A first version of a custom system starts at 4,500 JOD on our pricing page, and you get a fixed price in writing after a short call.
