Steel X Jordan: a website for steel structures

A website for a Jordanian manufacturer of steel shades, warehouses and hangars.

Steel X Jordan website

The client

Steel X Jordan designs, fabricates and installs steel structures: car parking shades, garden and patio canopies, farm storage and clean steel warehouses across Amman and Jordan.

What they needed

A site that explains what they build in plain language, shows real installations, and turns visitors into quote requests.

What we built

Service pages for each structure type, project pages with real photos, and a quote request form. The site is set up for Google from launch.

Why one page per structure type

People rarely search for steel structures in general. They search for the thing they need: a car parking shade, a canopy for the garden, a storage building for a farm, a warehouse or a hangar. A single services page cannot answer all of those searches well. Giving each structure type its own page lets each one carry its own photos, uses and questions, and gives Google a clear page to show for each search.

What a service page has to answer

Someone pricing a steel structure has the same questions every time, so each page is built around them:

  • What the structure is used for, and where it suits
  • The choices a buyer makes, such as size and roof covering
  • Photos of installed work, close enough to see the finish
  • What affects the price, in plain language
  • How to ask for a quote, in one step

Written this way, the page does part of the sales team's job before the first call.

Real photos, not stock

Buyers of steel work want to see welds, finish and real sites, not generic images. The project pages use real photos of Steel X installations. For a gallery like this, every photo needs to be compressed for phones, sized for its place on the page and given a descriptive name and alt text, so the gallery loads fast and can be found in image search.

A quote request that is easy to send

The goal of the site is a quote request. A quote form for steel work converts more when it asks only what the team needs to call back with a useful first answer, such as the type of structure, the location and a rough size. Every extra field costs requests.

Set up for Google from launch

The site went live with its search setup in place. Our launch setup covers a title and description for each page, a sitemap submitted in Search Console, structured data and fast pages on a phone. For a business that installs across Amman and the rest of Jordan, that foundation is what lets each service page start appearing for its own searches. See search setup at launch.

Writing for buyers, not engineers

Most people who ask for a car parking shade or a farm store are not engineers. They want to know whether it will fit, how long it will last and roughly what it costs. On a site like this, technical words such as span or cladding belong only where they are needed, explained in plain words, so the visitor feels confident enough to ask for a quote.

Project pages as proof

A project page does more than show photos. A useful one says what was built and in which area, shows the structure from a few angles, and links to the service page for that type, so a visitor who likes the result can ask for the same thing. Over time, the project pages become the strongest argument on the site.

Read on a phone, often on site

Visitors often look at a site like this on a phone, sometimes standing where the structure will go. Pages need to load fast on mobile data, photos need to be clear at phone size, and the quote request needs to be easy to reach without scrolling back to the top.

What the client owns

As with every site we deliver, the code, the design files and the hosting access belong to the client at handover, and the first 30 days after launch include fixes and help. After that, care plans start at 80 JOD a month. See maintenance and support.

Building a site for a fabrication or contracting business

The same approach works for any business that sells something built on site: contractors, aluminium and glass workshops, landscaping and interior fit-out. Clear pages per service, real project photos and a short quote form. See our work for construction companies or start from website design. A business website starts at 700 JOD on our pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website like this cost?

A business website with up to 10 custom pages, content management and a portfolio starts at 700 JOD and takes 2 to 4 weeks. Larger sites are quoted in writing after a short call.

Can we add new projects to the gallery ourselves?

On our business websites, yes. Content management and a portfolio section are included, so your team can add a project with its photos without a developer.

Why not put every service on one page?

Each structure type is a different search with different questions. A page per type answers each one properly and gives Google a clear page to rank for it.
