The CHI Jordan online store sells CHI and BioSilk hair care to customers across Jordan. Saree3 designed and built it as a custom store, and custom stores like this one start at 1,200 JOD. This case study covers the brief, the build and how the store works for buyers.

The brief

CHI Jordan is the Jordan branch of Farouk Systems, the maker of CHI and BioSilk. The team needed a store that sells only the products they stock in Jordan, at Jordan prices, with delivery to every governorate. It had to look like the brand, work in Arabic and English, and let their own staff run it without calling a developer for every new product or order.

What we built

We built three parts that work together. A storefront that customers browse and buy from. A commerce engine that holds products, prices, stock and orders. And a dashboard where the CHI Jordan team runs the shop day to day. The catalogue was rebuilt from the company's own warehouse list, so every size of a product carries its own item code and its own price.

Key features of the CHI Jordan online store

  • Arabic and English, with a language switch in the header and a right to left layout in Arabic.
  • Shopping by hair need: anti-frizz, curl care, colour protection, scalp care, repair, heat protection, hydration and shine.
  • Filters by category, brand and product line, so a customer can go straight to CHI Keratin or BioSilk.
  • Products sold in several sizes, each size with its own price.
  • Delivery fees by region, shown at checkout, and free delivery above a set order value.
  • Payment by Visa or Mastercard on the payment provider's secure page, or cash on delivery.
  • Customer accounts with order history and order tracking.
  • Product reviews that the team approves before they appear.
  • A WhatsApp link and a help section on orders, shipping, returns and common questions.

How it works for customers

A customer lands on the home page and picks a brand, a collection or a hair concern, and sees only the products that match. On the product page they choose a size, see the price for that size and add it to the cart. At checkout they enter their address, the delivery fee for their region is added, and they pay by card or choose cash on delivery. Every order is confirmed with the customer before dispatch, and they can follow it from their account.

On the other side, a new order appears in the team's dashboard with a notification. Staff move it through its stages, update stock and prices, add products and approve reviews from the same place.

Stack

A WordPress and WooCommerce engine runs products and orders in the background. The storefront that customers see is custom built with Next.js, and the team works from a separate custom dashboard instead of the standard WordPress admin. The brand gets a designed, fast store, and the commerce engine underneath is one that many developers in Jordan already know.

What the client gets

CHI Jordan owns the code, the design files and the accounts after final payment. Their team manages the catalogue, prices, orders and reviews themselves. Saree3 stays available for changes and fixes, and our care plans start at 80 JOD per month.
