Brand identity design cost in Jordan:
what you pay for in 2026
Market prices from freelance logos to agency brand systems, what a proper identity includes, and what to own at the end. Saree3 quotes branding in the written proposal, often with a website from 700 JOD.
Brand identity design cost in Jordan ranges from a few dinars for a marketplace logo to several thousand dinars for an agency brand system. The price follows the scope: a logo is one file, an identity is a system your whole business uses. Saree3 does not publish a fixed branding price. We quote it in the written proposal, and it is often bundled with a website, which starts from 700 JOD.
This guide shows what the market charges, using prices that freelancers and agencies publish themselves, what a proper identity includes, how to brief a designer, what you must own at the end, and the red flags to watch for.
How much brand identity design costs in Jordan
Few designers in Jordan publish prices, so the ranges below come from two public sources: Khamsat, an Arabic freelance marketplace, and Clutch, a directory where agencies list their minimum project size and hourly rate. The dinar is pegged to the US dollar at about 0.709 JOD per dollar, which we used for the conversions.
| Option | What the market shows | In JOD (about) | What you usually get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logo from a freelance marketplace | Brand identity gigs on Khamsat start from 5 to 100 USD | 4 to 71 JOD starting price, extras on top | One logo, a few revisions, image files; source files and a guide often cost extra |
| Independent designer | Hourly rates vary widely; the total depends on hours | Example: 40 hours at 25 USD an hour is about 710 JOD | Logo, colours, fonts and a short guide, if you agree it in writing |
| Branding agency in Jordan | Of 50 Jordan branding agencies on Clutch, 38 list a minimum project of 1,000 USD or more, and 15 of them 5,000 USD or more | From about 710 JOD; some from 3,545 JOD and up | Research, logo system, full brand guide, templates and a handover of source files |
These are starting points, not quotes. Two designers with the same price can deliver very different work. Compare what each quote includes, not only the total.
What a proper brand identity includes
A logo alone is not an identity. An identity is the set of rules that make your sign, your invoices, your Instagram and your website look like one business. For a company in Jordan, a complete identity usually includes:
| Deliverable | What it is | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Logo system | Main logo, a horizontal and a stacked version, an icon, and one colour and reversed versions | The logo has to work on a shop sign, an app icon and a 32 pixel browser tab |
| Colour palette | Main and secondary colours with codes for screen and print | Your printer, your developer and your social media designer use the same colours |
| Arabic and English typography | One Arabic and one English typeface that work together, with sizes for headings and text | Most brands in Jordan speak both languages; mismatched fonts look careless |
| Brand guide | A document with the rules: spacing, minimum sizes, what not to do | New staff and suppliers can use the brand without calling the designer |
| Social media templates | Editable post and story layouts in both languages | Your posts look consistent even when you make them yourself |
| Stationery | Business card, letterhead, invoice and email signature | Customers see these every day |
| Website and app UI kit | Buttons, forms, cards, icons and page layouts built from the brand | Your site and app match the brand instead of a template |
You may not need all of it on day one. A new shop can start with the logo system, colours, fonts and a short guide, and add templates and a UI kit when the website or app is built.
Arabic and English together
Most Jordanian brands need an Arabic and an English version of the name. This is where cheap identities fail. The Arabic version is often an afterthought: a generic font next to a custom English logo. Ask to see the Arabic logo at the concept stage, not at the end. Check that both versions have the same weight and height, and that the Arabic reads correctly from right to left in every layout.
Timeline: what happens in a branding project
A branding project moves through the same stages whatever the size. The scope sets how long each stage takes, and your feedback speed matters as much as the designer's.
- Brief and research. The designer learns your business, customers and competitors.
- Concepts. Two or three directions for the logo and colours.
- Refinement. One direction is developed, in Arabic and English, through agreed rounds of revisions.
- System. Colours, fonts, logo versions and the brand guide are finished.
- Applications. Stationery, social templates, signage files and the UI kit.
- Handover. All files, font details and the guide are delivered.
At Saree3 the schedule for each stage is written in the proposal before work starts, so you know the handover date in advance.
How to brief a designer
A clear brief saves rounds of revisions. Send this before you ask for a price:
- What you sell, to whom, and where: a shop in Amman, online across Jordan, or across the Gulf.
- Three competitors, and what you want to look different from them.
- Three brands you like, from any industry, and why.
- Your name in Arabic and English, exactly as it is registered.
- Where the brand will appear first: sign, packaging, website, app, social media, vehicles.
- What you need now and what can wait.
- Your budget range and your deadline.
What you should own at the end
Get these in writing before you pay the deposit:
- Source files. The editable vector files of the logo and every design, not only image exports.
- Exports for every use. Files for print, web, social media and app icons, in colour, black and white.
- Font licences. Google says fonts in its library can be used commercially and inside a logo. Paid fonts are different: the licence must cover your use on desktop, web and apps, and it should be in your company's name.
- Full rights to the design. A written transfer of rights to your company after final payment.
- The brand guide. So the next designer or developer can continue the work.
If the name and logo matter to your business, register them as a trademark. In Jordan, trademark applications go to the Industrial Property Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. Check the current fees with the Ministry.
Costs that are not in the design quote
The design fee is only part of the budget. Plan for these separately:
- Printing and production. Business cards, packaging, bags and uniforms are paid to the printer.
- Signage. The sign maker charges for materials and installation.
- Paid fonts. If the designer picks a commercial typeface, its licence is a separate cost.
- Trademark registration. Government fees, and a lawyer or agent if you use one.
- Photography. Product and team photos in the new style.
- Changing what already exists. Old signs, menus, vehicles and website pages that carry the old logo.
Ask the designer to list which of these the quote covers, so nothing surprises you after approval.
Red flags
- Template logos. A logo bought from a template site may be sold to other businesses too. You cannot stop them using it.
- Stock icons inside the logo. Stock licences often forbid this. Adobe Stock's terms, for example, do not allow using a licensed image in a trademark or logo.
- No Arabic until the end. The Arabic version is the hard part; it should be designed with the English one.
- Source files cost extra or are refused. You will pay again every time you need a change.
- Unlimited revisions for a very low price. This usually means no research and many random options.
- No contract. Scope, revisions, ownership and dates should be written down.
Branding with your website at Saree3
Most of our branding work starts with a website or an app. We design the logo system, colours and Arabic and English typography first, then build the site from the same system, so the brand and the product match from day one. See our brand design service for what is included, and our website design service for site prices, which start from 700 JOD. You get a written proposal with fixed scope, schedule and price within one business day, and you own the code, the design files and the accounts after final payment.
